Private James H. Woods

 

The background of this North Irish Horseman is not known at present.

James H. Woods enlisted in the Hussars of the Line in July or August 1916 (No.32060). Posted to the North Irish Horse, he trained at the regimental reserve camp at Antrim before embarking for France between 1916 and 1918. Nothing more has been discovered about his military service during the war.

On 3 March 1919 he was demobilised and transferred to Class Z, Army Reserve.
